NORTHERN CALIFORNIA KIT CAR CLUB The Northern California Kit Car Club is a Non-profit Californa Corporation that was organized to promote learning more about our cars through sharing of information among members. We also strive to promote the enjoyment of our vehicles through high profile activities such as shows, parades and promotions. These are supplemented by social events such as trips, gatherings, parties, rallys, etc. One of the prime objectives of our social activities is the exchange of ideas and experience that comes from building your own car. Members of the club, collectively, represent a wide range of knowledge and experience that can be very helpful to those building their cars or those considering purchase of a kit. For those who wish to sell their kit cars, we have a resale committee that has infomation on cars for sale and we offer to members the opportunity to advertise their car in our newsletter for a modest fee. The club defines kit cars, for membership purposes, as any car that can be built or assembled outside the manufacturers plant by the end user. These can be made with any combination of metal, fiberglass or other materials and utilize engine, transmission and other mechanical components from production cars. This does not exclude kit cars assembled by the manufacturer and sold as a complete car. Club membership is also open to persons who have purchased but not completed their cars and persons who plan to purchase a kit. These people can benefit from the knowledge available within the club. In summary, the NCKCC is an educational organization of persons that enjoy handcrafted automobiles and it promotes the learning experience through social events that are suitable for family participation. Membership dues are $24.00 per year payable in January. Members joining in mid-year are charged $2/month for the remaining months. Membership benefits include a monthly newsletter, a website and participation in all club events.
